I can’t get Finder to create QuickLook icons for .CBR files anymore, only .CBZ
Any idea what’s going on?
Kikimau, I am going to do a post on resolving the various file extension problems that people have. In almost all cases like yours it is due to another app declaring that both cbr and rar archives are the same. I will walk you through the steps to fix it later.

Just wanted to let you know that Simple Comic is a great program. I use it on my mac and out of all the cbr and cbz readers out there, yours is the best. Keep up the great work.

Simple Comic is hands down the best cbe/cbz/zip comic reader for OSX. Have you considered converting and releasing it for the new iPad? There are no decent readers available currently (and those that are available are very nasty in the UI stakes). I would gladly pay for an app like Simple Comic for the iPad – simple, elegant, uncluttered reading. Please consider it!

Yep, working on it now. Not sure of a time frame. I want to get at least the basics right prior to release.
