Simple Comic 1.5.3 out

Okay 1.5.3 is out now.Full disclosure I screwed up the localizations and have been doing so for some time by the looks of things. The strings where properly localized by the fine folks who volunteered their time but I neglected to give them enough room in their respective text fields, resulting in clipping. For this reason 1.5.4 will be released on monday.

Thanks for the update. I would like to know how can I find the hidden preference to disable session-saving.

Here is a link to the current hidden prefs list.

I am going to add a checkbox for enabling and disabling session saving to the prefs in 1.5.5.

Hey, I’m really enjoying Simple Comic a great deal. One must-have feature, though, is an “Open Next” hot key, which would open the next comic in the directory the currently loaded comic is in.

    Thanks!

Yes I saw that in Comix under linux. In fact it was fully automated. Flip past the last page and the next archive loaded. Not quite sure how it would work if the user loaded multiple archives. Maybe it would disable.

Found you while looking around for updates to cooviewer.
Something that might interest you is http://hetima.com/soft/hetimazipql.html
It’s a japanese cbz/zip quick look extension for Leopard.

I really like the work you’re doing. An actively developed cooviewer is something I’ve been looking for.

I too wish that cooViewer was still being actively developed. I am actually its admin over at osx.iusethis.com.

Hetima’s quick look plugin is quite nice. Hopefully he implements quicklook’s preview functionality.
