1.7 Release

The Simple Comic 1.7 release candidate will be released tomorrow morning with final following in the next week or so.

2.0 should be interesting as I would like to try and cut SC to the bone and rethink some of the its basic interface elements.

    Although I like your overall goal of cutting SC to the bone, I hope you would reconsider working on some kind of comic book managenet using metadata. Comicbooklover already have this, but I would really like to see your take on this.

    Yep, I actually have a couple of alpha quality apps that I am experimenting with. Simple Comic will be be able to read the meta data but it will be managed by a standalone app for the most part. All metadata will by compatible ComicBookLover’s. Searching and filtering will be through spotlight.

    Sorry, my real job has been taking a bit too much time. Did what I hope are the last few bug fixes for SC this weekend so 1.7 can go out.
